Girls Inc. of Worcester today announced that it is proceeding with its Summer Camp program and looks forward to welcoming girls for another summer of exciting seasonal activities.
The summer camp will feature its regular series of social and recreational activities, including crafts, swimming, kayaking, hiking and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) skills training. The eight-week program starts on June 26 and takes place at Girls Inc. of Worcester’s center at 125 Providence St. and its Camp Kinneywood campground, located on the Holden border.
Girls Inc. of Worcester held its annual “Girls Celebration”, a tradition for over 22 years, on Thursday, March 23rd, at the College of the Holy Cross from 4:30 – 6:30 PM. This event highlights not only the success of Girls Inc. girls, but also provides the community with a snapshot of our progressive, innovative programs and staff that make our organization a vital component in Worcester’s community to make its girls strong, smart, and bold leaders for the future.
On March 8, 2023, Girls Inc. of Worcester and Consigli Construction celebrated Women in Construction Week!
Consigli Construction has sponsored the 2023 Eureka! STEM & Leadership cohort. During the past 5 years of being in the program, the girls have been able to visit job sites with Consigli, asking questions and completeting externships with the company.
We are pleased to invite all Girls Inc. alumnae to join us on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 10 am – 12 pm for light refreshments and coffee and photos!
