CAMP REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. WE ARE AT CAPACITY
Girls Inc. of Worcester's number one priority is the health and safety of our girls. Like many other aspects of life, because of COVID-19, camp will look a little different than usual. Nonetheless, we know our girls will have fun and grow Stronger, Smarter, and Bolder.
We will be open for summer camp programs at our Providence Street Center for 6 weeks Monday through Friday. The first day of camp will be Monday, July 13 and it will run until Friday, August 21. Due to COVID-19, we will have staggered start and end times: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be no extended care option.
We are open to girls who are entering 1st through 6th grade. Our capacity is limited to 30 girls per week. Registration will open Monday, June 23 online at www.girlsincworcester.org. Priority will be given to Girls Inc. members, current and past.
In light of the economic consequences of the pandemic, camp will be offered at a cost $50 per week/per girl. If your family can afford more, we ask that you consider making a donation to our organization. If this cost is prohibitive, please contact Allison James at .
Additional measures will be taken to ensure the girls' safety and health, including recording temperatures, limiting people in the building, and increased cleaning. The pool will be open for girls to enjoy swimming--a highlight for them each summer--and we will be spending a lot of time outdoors.
Additional information will be provided once we receive guidance from state and local officials.
If you have any questions, please contact Sheniqua Rogers, Director of After-School and Summer Camp at .
