National Reach

Our National Network Focused on Girls

As a member of the nonprofit organization Girls Inc. (formerly known as Girls Clubs of America, headquartered in New York City), we are one of the leading organizations focused exclusively on helping girls achieve their potential.

Each year, more than 90 Girls Inc. affiliates in the U.S. and Canada help more than 138,000 girls ages 5 -18 to be strong, smart, and bold by offering life-changing experiences and real solutions to the unique issues girls face.

Our impact is also felt among elected representatives, policy makers, corporations, and community organizations. We collaborate with these groups to advance an agenda that represents the interests of girls and young women.

National Strength and Reach

While Girls Inc. of Worcester operates as an independent organization, we draw strength from our national network through research, programs, and media exposure. By working closely with our national office, we channel their resources into our local communities and stay aligned with the goals of our national leadership.

Research-Based Curricula

As part of our affiliation with our national organization, we have access to research-based curricula designed specifically for girls. This means our programs are built on data and are designed to meet specific needs that are proven to exist among girls.

The Girls Inc. National Resource Center (NRC), located in Indianapolis, provides background information for anyone interested in our programs.
