Donor Experience Manager

What You Would Do

Donor Relations/Database Management:

  • Manage the organization’s fund development database (Bloomerang), ensuring accurate and up-to-date donor records.
  • Process and manage gift transactions, including acknowledgment and thank-you correspondences.
  • Respond to external inquiries and donor correspondence promptly via phone, email, and mail.
  • Coordinate stewardship activities, including the preparation of acknowledgment letters and donor segmentation.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure data accuracy and proper donation collection.
  • Assist in developing annual and individual fundraising appeals.

Social Media/Marketing:

  • Create, manage, and maintain dynamic content for all social media vehicles/websites for Girls Inc. of Worcester in line with and communicating the organization’s mission.
  • Collaborate with staff to develop social media campaigns (events, GIW programs, fundraising, etc.) that help to achieve goals.
  • Create and manage dynamic and thoughtful content in line with the organization s mission via a range of media types (this process includes obtaining graphics, caption and content writing, and proofreading).
  • Maintain Girls Inc. of Worcester branding.
  • Apply available analytics and metric insights to content planning.
  • Create and coordinate printing, compiling and distribution of promotional materials.
  • Assist with all other forms of communications media.

Events:

  • Assist with fundraising events, providing support including the coordination of tasks and creation of related materials.
  • All other event-related activities as needed.

Volunteer engagement:

  • Proactively identify volunteer needs and opportunities within the organization.
  • In collaboration with volunteer engagement staff, assist with onboarding all volunteers and interns into Girls Inc. of Worcester ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with organizational values.
  • Maintain a record of volunteer activities.
  • Create reports and analyze volunteer programs to measure their impact and effectiveness.
  • Provide stewardship and appropriate acknowledgment of volunteers’ contributions.
  • Support departmental efforts, such as special events, as part of the fund development team.

Work as the Board Liaison:

  • Maintain the Board calendar, including scheduling Board meetings and Governance Committee meetings.
  • Prepare Board meetings packets/materials and maintain Board Google Drive.
  • Track Board attendance and annual giving in a spreadsheet and ensure it is up to date.
  • Attend Board and Governance committee meetings to take meeting minutes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or 3 years of development/fundraising experience.
  • Experience using Bloomerang or similar fund development databases.
  • Basic knowledge and experience using social media/website maintenance tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers, and staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-orientated and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software applications.
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles and techniques.

Salary range: $47,000- $55,000
