After-School Program Coordinator and After-School Support Staff

After-School Program Coordinators

Girls Inc. of Worcester is seeking responsible and experienced individuals to work as After-School Program Coordinators.  The position is responsible for curriculum development and implementation of after-school programs for elementary and/or middle school girls. After-School Program Coordinators expected work hours are Monday-Friday, 1:00p.m. – 6:00p.m.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will be a positive role model, have reliable transportation, excellent organizational skills, demonstrate the ability to work in a youth environment and diverse groups, and facilitate programs. Candidate must be at least eighteen years of age, High School graduate, General Education Development (GED) or equivalent, ability to be certified in CPR and First Aid. Associate degree, with courses in education, recreation, psychology, or related field; or 2-4 years of experience working with youth preferred. Bilingual a plus. Must successfully complete a CORI background check.

After-School Support Staff

Girls Inc. of Worcester is seeking responsible and experienced individuals to work as After-School Support Staff.  The position is responsible for assisting in developing and implementing quality after-school programming. The incumbent will assist with the daily programming and supervision of children in grades Kindergarten – 6th grade. After-School Program Support Staff expected work hours are Monday-Friday, 2:00p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will be a positive role model, have reliable transportation, excellent organizational skills, demonstrate the ability to work in a youth environment and diverse groups, and facilitate programs. Candidate must be at least sixteen years of age, 6 months to 1 (one) year of experience working with youth preferred. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing youth programs preferred. Bilingual a plus. Must successfully complete a CORI background check.
