    Girls Inc. of Worcester in partnership with the Women's Initiative of the United Way of Central Massachusetts welcomes all 7th and 8th grade girls to our annual Career Day, on April 11, 2012. Here, 7th and 8th grade girls can discover their future by meeting successful, inspirational women who work in a variety of rewarding professions. Partnering with the Women's Initiative of the United Way of Central Massachusetts, Girls Inc. of Worcester offers this amazing opportunity for both girls and mentors. Please provide your own transportation.

    Girls Inc. Super Camp Open House

    Where girls can experience the best of both worlds

    On Saturday, March 31st, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm, we will be hosting an Open House and summer registration session at both Winthrop House - (125 Providence St., Worcester) and beautiful Camp Kinneywood – (280 Olean Street, Worcester) for our 2012 Super Camp! 

  • One-Day Dance Workshop with Katherine Tokarz

    KATHERINE TOKARZ is teaching a positive, ridiculously fun one-day workshop about dance, the business,

    and following your passion.

    If that doesn't sound good to you, just come to DANCE your face off.

    • 9:00-1:30 PM 12 and Under
    • 11:30-1:30 PM 13 and Up

    Cost: $40 per student

  • Fall Wine and Beer Tasting

    Enjoy an evening of sampling delicious beers and wines and socializing with friends at Wormtown Brewing Company, Worcester, on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM to benefit Girls Incorporated of Worcester.  Light appetizers, silent auction, networking, live music, and tour of brewery.  Complimentary valet parking available.

  • Summer STEM Program

    Summer STEM offers middle school age girls an exciting array of activities!  Girls will explore, discover and imagine as they engage in fun, interactive and hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities. 

    Girls Inc. would like to thank National Grid for fully sponsoring the Summer STEM Program. 

    National Grid has a strong commitment to the community and supports programs that reinforce its Engineering Our Future initiative to attract students to careers in engineering.

    Lights, camera, action.... our "Dear World" girls have been invited to serve as "extras" in "Broken Silence" a film being shot in Worcester about the devastating impact of cyberbullying.
