In most traditions, females get honored and “showered” with gifts to offset the expenses incurred from starting a new life as a mom or wife.
At Girls Inc., we believe that graduating from high school and furthering education are reasons to celebrate and so we honor and “shower” our high school grads.This year we will be honoring 42 graduating seniors!
We are so proud of these young women!!!

Today, girls continue to encounter significant obstacles to their well-being and success, such as high school completion, body image, teen pregnancy, and violence.
Our society is sending a clear message that affects girls’ education, aspirations, and leadership. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
