Thanks to the Creative Spark Grant through the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, artist Alice Mizrachi is graciously sharing her gifts with us here at Girls Inc. of Worcester. Her design for our recently renovated gymnasium will be a mural enjoyed by all. Alice has collaborated on the design of the mural with our girls, and what they feel it means to be Strong, Smart, and Bold.
Alice’s extensive portfolio involves her advocacy for socially engaging art, and has been featured in exhibitions at the Museum of the City of New York, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, and the United Nations and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Washington DC.
We are delighted to be unveiling her mural on April 9th at 4:30 p.m. in the Girls Inc. gymnasium at 125 Providence St. Please join us for this special event and enjoy this wonderful work of art and culture in our own backyard!
