8 Themed Weeks
Week One: June 26 – June 30, “Through the Looking Glass.” (additional $15.00 field trip fee applies)
Description: Join us this week as we explore ways in which girls identify and interact with engineering. Through engaging enrichment activities and learning adventures, the girls will participate in a multimedia engineering curriculum "Through my Window." This story-based idea-centered approach to engineering is sure to be a big hit. FULL
Week Two: July 3 – July 7 (Closed Tuesday, July 4), “Green Gardening.” (additional $10.00 field trip fee applies)
Description: A favorite from year to year, we'll return to Heifer Farm and learn about the ecological principles and process of sustainability through hands on fun and engaging activities. In addition to cooking a meal and helping with the livestock, the girls will tour the Global Village and enjoy a picnic lunch.
Week Three: July 10 – July 14, “G Force.” (additional $30.00 field trip fee applies)
Description: Don't let the Laws of Physics hold you back - We'll push things to the limit as we explore formulas and conversions and test our own "G" meters first hand as we ride roller coasters and other amusements at Canobie Lake Park! FULL
Week Four: July 17 – 21, “Stem to Steam.”
Description: Join us this week as we bring out your "inner artist." Working side by side with the staff from "Young Rembrandts" the girls will explore imagery from their favorite apps and video games. They'll learn about coloring techniques, pixel block characters, zombies and so much more and have a blast as they have an opportunity to add their own personal touches.
Week Five: July 24 – 28, “On the Move.” (additional $50.00 field trip fee applies - overnight trip 7/27-7/28)
Description: This week we’ll hike our way through Boston, take a ferry ride to an island, pitch our own tents and explore nature up close and personal with an overnight trip to Boston Harbor. FULL
Week Six: July 31 – August 4, “It's Electric.”
Description: Join us as we help illuminate the future for our girls through exploration of electricity. We'll light our way through the week as we explore circuit science and other engaging activities including making our own electric paint and illuminating pickles.
Week Seven: August 7 – August 11, “LEGO Mania.” (additional $10.00 field trip fee applies)
Description: LEGO's, LEGO's and more LEGO's. Join us this week as we explore architecture, collaboration and team work through countless LEGO inspired games and challenges. Who will walk away as the LEGO champion? Will it be you?
Week Eight: August 14 – August 18, “Shake, Rattle & Roll.”
Description: We'll shake, rattle and roll around in laughter as we prepare for our annual end of the summer Camp Kinneywood Talent showcase. Join us for a week filled with fun as we make memories that will last a lifetime!!!
