On Saturday, October 24, Girls Inc's Board of Directors and leadership team met for a day long retreat. Our very inspiring speaker for the morning was Dr. David Jordan, President and CEO of Seven Hills Foundation. The focus was on creating a vision - to challenge, inspire and empower - girls, staff, parents, Board members and all who touch and are touched by Girls Inc.
Tomorrow morning, we begin to define the work of the new strategic planning committee - and the Board and staffs' roles in moving us closer to the vision. One step at a time; one goal at a time; grounded in our values and focused on the girls!
