Today was a very creative day at Girls Inc of Worcester! The 25 girls who participated in the Presidents' Day program pitched in with two adult (Gina Fleury and Kofi Poku) and two teen volunteers (Yaa and Adwoa Poku) to create masterpiece murals that will be proudly displayed in the Winthrop House lobby for months to come.
The girls wore Women's Initiative t-shirts that came down to their ankles as smocks... they had as much paint on themselves as they did on the canvas... they worked together as a team to create the pictures... and I think you will agree that they did an AWESOME job making our strong, smART and bold paintings!!
