TD Banknorth invited our GREAT new program manager, Kijah Clark and myself to attend the Worcester Tornadoes game (against the Quebec Capitales!) tonight. The evening started out with a picnic dinner and a visit from Twister the Tornadoes' cuddly mascot. We were able to spend time with several of the friendly TDBanknorth staff - getting to know them better and thanking them for their growing support of our economic literacy program!!! And we had a chance to catch up with a few of our nonprofit colleagues. Great night! And, a bit of the truth - we left before the game was over so
After a 3550 mile drive to California, we went out for icecream with our friends in the city of Alameda, across the Bay from San Francisco, and discovered that Girls Inc is everywhere!!! The icecream was awesome too!
