Our Mentoring Program is a weekly group mentoring program that provides girls consistent, in-depth programming and experiences to strengthen their coping skills, reduce risk factors, minimize entry/re-entry into the juvenile justice system, and increase family engagement.
We aim to equip girls with the guidance, support and skills to be engaged in school, build healthy relationships with peers and family, and reduce negative and high-risk behaviors. The desired outcome is to reduce the number of girls entering the juvenile justice system and ensure that girls who have experienced trauma get the services they need to heal and succeed.
Mentoring runs Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:30 p.m. from October - May. We are looking for both mentors (women who want to make a difference and have fun in a small group setting) and mentees (girls who are 9-17 and are looking to have a great time on Wednesday nights!)
