Dear Girls Inc. of Worcester friends,
The Board of Directors would like to announce that Victoria Waterman has decided to semi-retire and step down as the CEO of Girls Inc. of Worcester effective June 30, 2023, at which point a successor will be named.
Victoria joined Girls Inc. of Worcester as its CEO in 2012, after serving as Board President for many years prior. Since then, she ushered in a strategic plan that allows us to serve more girls in our community and continue to build important strategic partnerships. Among Victoria’s many accomplishments as CEO is a successful capital campaign that provided significant improvements to our facilities. She has worked diligently to improve operational and organizational processes and has been a visionary leader influencing significant growth within the organization.
Victoria leaves Girls Inc. of Worcester in a favorable position of ongoing development and future success. The Board sincerely thanks her for her years of outstanding leadership, dedication, passion, and commitment. She will be greatly missed by her colleagues, the Board of Directors, the Girls Inc. girls, and the many trusted community partners she has formed relationships with over the years. We wish Victoria the very best of luck in her future endeavors.
An Executive Search Committee has been assembled and is composed of both current and former Board presidents and directors. Within the next month the search committee will launch the search for a new CEO. The Board of Directors, along with the incredibly talented Girls Inc. of Worcester staff, are committed to moving the organization forward continuing to deliver on our mission to inspire the girls in our community to be “strong, smart and, bold.”
Thank you for your continued support,
Sincerely,
Pam Daly
