As After School Support Staff, you are responsible for assisting in developing and implementing quality after-school programming at the Girls Inc. facility. The incumbent will assist with the daily programming and supervision of children in grades Kindergarten – 7th grade.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
1. Assist in planning, supervising, and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for the after-school programs that follow and provide choices and opportunities for participants including but not limited to art, fitness, nutrition, and STEM based on the mission of Girls Inc. and needs of participants
2. Prepare daily after school-program materials and spaces.
Available After-School Program Support Staff work hours are Monday-Friday, 1:30/2:00p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Staff who can work 2-5 days will be considered. Holiday and school closings may require more time as outlined by the approved Worcester Public Schools calendar.
1. At least sixteen (16) years of age
2. 6 months to 1 (one) year of experience working with youth preferred
Starting hourly rate $14.75/hr
